Research Interests
I'm interested in human trust and comprehension of AI-generated content,
across health, civic-information, and software development contexts. My
work sits at the boundary between AI system output and how people actually
understand and act on it — informed by several years building production
AI-integrated software and, more recently, by research I'm conducting on
my own civic education app.
Relevant Experience
Dionysus — AI-Driven Stress Monitoring System
iOS Developer, 2022–present
- Built the iOS data pipeline synchronizing physiological signals from Apple
Watch and Fitbit for longitudinal behavioural sensing; underlying ML models
were developed by the broader engineering team.
- Designed the SwiftUI visualization layer surfacing AI-generated Power/Stress
scores to end users.
- Integrated conversational AI (Gemini, ChatGPT) into the platform's chatbot
features.
Aama Cure — Maternal Health Platform
Technical Project Lead, 2026–present
- Leading technical architecture and product direction for a maternal and
postpartum health platform targeting an underserved population in a
low-resource healthcare system.
- Currently scoping AI integration for the platform (in progress, not yet built).

Trust and Comprehension of AI-Generated Explanations in a Civic Education App

Working paper
- I built and maintain a mobile app that teaches Nepal's constitution through
daily challenge questions.
- A recent survey of ~100 users found a clear adoption barrier for the daily
quiz feature, split roughly across difficulty, low discoverability, and time
constraints. A meaningful share of respondents also said they'd use the app
to prepare for citizenship exams.
- In response, I'm building an "Explain with AI" feature and writing a working
paper evaluating (a) whether the AI's explanations stay accurate against the
actual legal text, and (b) whether users trust and understand them.
